Lunch should have its own thread

What do you do with them? I have some in the cupboard and have no clue.

Stir them into porridge / oats / muesli / yoghurt etc.

Sprinkle them over fruit / salads / veg / grains / pulses etc.

They go kind of jelly-ish if you soak them, so you can make chia pudding by adding milk (cow, soya, almond or whatever) or water (plus something else for flavour) and leaving them overnight. It's just occurred to me that stewed fruit might be good for this too, with a bit of yoghurt or something stirred in.

(((Mrs Miggins))) I hate that feeling but ^^ this - we've all been there.

I had tiger bread, cheese and a nice salad with rocket, red peppers from a jar, walnuts, olives, capers and other stuff in it. Followed by chocolate cake.

Chicken and a pot of melon, kiwi and lime-infused apple that I found reduced in M&S last night. Greek yoghurt with strawberry pieces.

Thanks polly - I'm over it now but it made me realize just how much I HATE making mistakes at work :mad:

I guess from that that you don't make them very often :)

I just had a wholemeal pitta with falafels, mayonnaise, chilli jam, tomatoes and rocket, and a Diet Coke. Son had a PB sandwich with wholemeal bread and an entire punnet of blueberries :hmm: *hovers nervously around his bum area*

Spinach, rocket and chard, lemon and herb chicken pieces, quinoa and feta salad with veg and lemon dressing.

Lemon and herb chicken, salad, granny smith apple, baby carrots with low fat cream cheese. Cup of coffee.

Here is a nice Berlin lunch from a couple of weeks back:

I think there was more alcohol in the ice cream than there was in the beer! :D

Fat free greek yoghurt with chia seeds and mashed up banana and raspberries stirred in. Cup of coffee.

Baked Charlotte spuds, hummus, salad sprouts.

Darn Last time I looked, hummus was OK.
700kcals on top of the spuds. :(

Never mind. I'm fully hoping to get out in the sunshine tomorrow so should clock up 20-odd miles ...

A nectarine and an entire fuck-off massive mango, diced and mixed with fat free greek yoghurt and a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
