Lunch should have its own thread

I don't have any lunch today, or any money :(

Bugger, I hate that....

I am trying to be REALLY disciplined with my lunches and either make sarnies or bring in leftovers from the previous nights dinner as it saves SO much money over the week.

Was pretty lazy today though :(

I have found....a lidl cream of chicken and vegetable with crutons cuppasoup at the back of my desk draw....oh for saving graces!:D

I have 16p in my purse

I would've made sarnies as I made bread yesterday, only I've run out of butter. :(

Office is so boring that EVERYONE wants to go for lunch at 12:00 today. I am gonna try to stop my stomach from grumbling till 13:00 to make the afternoon shorter....

Might kill 5 mins by checking my lottery ticket or something :)

I need to eat something but I have nothing appetising. I had the most delicious bacon sarnie for breakfast and I want something which will compare!

I eat out of habit so it was microwaved frozen peas, instant mash and baked beans. :p

I'm debating which of two appliances :- a Lidl mini oven or a microwave in the office would encourage me the most to eat something sensible.

Fresh salad is always the biggest problem to get hold of though and I don't think I would be able to sneak a self-contained hydroponics unit in .....

Tomato, spinach and lentil soup, hearty enough to eat on it's own and ideal for getting some veg in between festivals.

A nice sized triangle of fish finger omelette + a cpl of strips of piri piri chicken with red peppper and tomatoe. Home made ham & cheese bread also.

left overs - pea, lettuce and barley stew with pan fried duck fillets and lardons!
Mmmmmmmm

Already munched a couple of tuna mayo and watercress sarnies.

Gonna stroll to the shops now and grab something light but not sure what yet.
Will see what is cheap or nice or both.

I had the world's saddest ham sandwich for lunch and the worts part is, I made it myself. The bread was stale, I was too stingy with the ham and I didn't have any salad. Pathetic :(

I have been forced to eat leftover meeting sandwiches and sauage rolls to make up for it.

Have some soup but did not have time to heat/eat it.
Had a bit of Soreen too but not a lot.

Dinner will be nicer as a result :)
