Lunch should have its own thread

Forgot to bring the cheapo diet soup to work, so I'm having posh Suma lentil and veggie - twice the price .. with a decent pile of green beans

280 kcals plus the beans ...

Nicely heavy on the lentils so I left out the rice ...

Can of chickpeas and bag of leaves...

I was in my local Tesco buying salad dressing for it and the young chap at the till was most concerned with the separation of ingredients of Paul Newman's Italian ...
He definitely looked like someone who was unfamiliar with non-homogenised food - poor sod.

Salad - spinach and other green leaves, shredded beetroot, cucumber, the other piri piri chicken breast from last night's tea, half a pot of reduced giant couscous & wheatberry salad, reduced fat houmous. Four pieces of crushed corn toblerone.

Chickpea salad again.
Just as well it's a light lunch, this weather made me miss how late it was - got to the supermarket only just in time.

I'll see if I can do without tea.

306 calories for the chickpeas
85 for the bag of salad
perhaps 300 for the dressing - so actually quite a few calories ...

Tuna, cucumber, raw green beans, pomegranate seeds, toasted seed mix, lemon juice, tiny bit of soy sauce, not enough wasabi.

Ham sandwich made with supermarket bread (shame!), lettuce, tomato and cucumber plus mayo and Dijon mustard plus a rather uninspiring salad with a rather unispiring dressing.
The lettuce was from my mate's allotment and I'm sorry to have to say it was uninspiring. The lemon for my dressing had been cut in half and lurking in the fridge for a good few days so had probaly lost its inspiration that way. *sigh*

Tuna, mixed salad leaves, diced red & green peppers, cucumber, spring onions, seed mix, wasabi, pickled ginger, tiny bit of soy sauce. Coffee.

I haven't had lunch yet as I'm on a fast day.
My plan is to wait for as long as possible before eating lunch as there will not be any dinner!

Tofu and drunken noodles, with zucchini and carrots.
That sounds lovely!!
I'm gonna look up a recipe for that.

I have a ham sandwich and a rather sad little salad again.
I have a pre-sliced tomato in a little pot to add to my sandwich when I'm about to eat it so that it didn't sit there all morning making the bread soggy. This habit amuses my colleagues :)

Well quite! They all laugh at me though :D

I get laughed at because I'll take a bag of chips and hit it on a table top a couple of times before I eat the chips. I need to break the chips up small enough to fit in my mouth. I get comments about how I have to beat up my chips. "Can't you pick on something your own size?", etc. :D

Turkey, mixed salad leaves, cucumber, green pepper, beetroot and feta with lemon juice and black pepper. Coffee.
