i had a salad from the salad bar in the staff restaurant. was pretty tasty, lots of beetroot, leaves, peepers, sweetcorn, salami, and that cheese with holes in (having a mind blank as to what it's called!)

Yesterday I had a slightly odd smoked mackerel and couscous affair.

Today I have two hardboiled eggs, little gem, carrot sticks, steamed asparagus, cucumber, orange pepper and vinaigrette.

The illuminous orange sauce from Kraft 'Mac & Cheese' but served with proper pasta and shit tons of butter. Oh, fucking hell

Two of those sandwich square things done in the panini maker with hummus, cheese and ancho and papaya hot sauce. Caramel digestives and coffee.

I'm gonna do this again tomorrow (after this evo's tea which took me ages to make was so disappointing, I need a lift). From now on I'm just gonna chuck the quick cook pasta that comes in the box and use the sauce mix with real pasta. Wasteful, but combined with my modifications (adding extra milk with the butter to the drained pasta and letting it simmer for a few minutes - adds umami and makes the usually dry sauce stickier) I think I'm on to something great

Fry up. [emoji41] Sausage, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns and beans. There was toast too but my dog stole 1 slice when I wasn't looking and Mr s had the other along with half of my fry up. I don't know how he's not enormous!

Pittas: one with cheddar, chilli jam, cucumber and piquante peppers, one with cream cheese, pickled jalapeños and sliced red pepper. Just about to round it (and myself) off with a large chunk of birthday cake.
