Lost Prophets...

Is he the new Ian Brady? No remorse? Decades of blathering on about how he's not really that guilty compared to other stuff? Has he expressed any remorse?

Possibly a lot of multitrack recordings at 24 bit 96KHZ. Throwing money at getting more storage, keeping every utterance and note, might be the sort of thing any self obsessed rock star might do. In this case, I'd dread to think what else is on those disks and pity the peple who have to find out.

Nope. In a way, I hope he has a non fatal debilitating accident but lives out the rest of his days in prison. Sure, if you could press a button right now and something grim would happen to him, who wouldn't press it. To dwell on such thoughts doesn't do anyone any favours though obv.

I posted it, pre the floods in 2012 hard drive prices where low, 2TB drives i was picking up for £50 and and 3TB's for £70-£80 a pop ( which is what i posted.) there only £80 odd quid now.

Memory's cheap - £70-£100 for 3TB from various places.

to be honest when i read that stuff my thought was "why can't he just be taken out the back and shot." It's wrong obviously but fuck. He deserves everything he gets while in prison. But more importantly than punishment, I hope the victims are going to get the care and support they need.

The point of comparison with Mary Bell is between her and the abused infants, not their mothers, given that she was abused by her mother from age 4.

The one positive thing here for me is that the children have hopefully been rescued early enough that they can have a chance at life.

Yep. Given that can't happen, I don't care too much what happens to him providing his treatment is no more favourable than any other prisioner. He can talk to shrinks if it's any help in any further investigation. But don't put any resources towards trying to cure him, when far less despicable convicts don't get any help. Liquidate his assets and give the money to relevant charities, if they'll have it too. And should he have an accident, I don't imagine screws rushing to his aid too quickly.
 
I hope all his royalties are sequestered and given to the victims to support them in their recovery. Can they do that?

I can't imagine what his family are thinking - must be such a headfuck to know that your child has committed such unspeakable crimes :(

Giving me a price for an internal drive now doesn't really show much beyond the price of internal drives now. If bob says he know that 3tb drives were going for that price then fine during the paedos crimes i won't argue. We don't know that this millionaire was doing the cost effective thing and using multiple internal drives though. He might well have had a load of external drives - and i don't think they were in that price range at that size at that time. They barely are now.

its a high certainty he'll get done over in some way- Baby P's killer got a sugar and boiling water attack after all and they are supposed to be in high seclusion etc so screw complicity is certain

Ian Brady is still alive. Hindley died of natural causes. I don't see an inevitability that something will happen to him.

I hope people hoping he is attacked in jail rethink their position, and think about what that means in terms of the kinds of people who would carry out such an attack.

Brady has been in solitary then hospital since sentencing.

Hoping and recognizing what may happen under certain conditions based on other similar situations are not the same thing.
 
I wonder how much continued support he'll get from fans - there will be a few who'll stick by him, still in thrall. I was reading some of that whodateswho stuff earlier - he was, and presumably still is, deeply manipulative, exploiting young fans :(

They did actually go public with how they're feeling around the time he pleaded guilty. God knows what they're thinking now though. I just dunno what would make a person turn like that? By all accounts he had a decent childhood and then became famous in early adulthood. Had the world on a plate really.

I didn't say inevitable I said high certainty because bad things befall sex offendors in jail all the time. In the jail hierarchy nonces are lowest of the low and theres plenty of violent individuals in jail with nothing to lose and some 'glory' to gain.

I certainly am not hoping for it to happen, I've made it clear many times that vengeance isn't justice imo
