depends whose expectations we're talking 'bout. Mine? nope, because I know full well he's basically a Blairite (but one who is quite good on human rights), so i never exoected anything much in the first place.
Londoners as a whole? well, he's a near-cert to win re-election whenever we do finally stafe the next Mayoral election, so I can only assume he ahs at least met their expectations.

Same here. Before my current role, I worked for 8 years in a sleepy commuter town in essex, with consequently low pollution. My chest felt fine (I have asthma and COPD).
Within days of starting my new role., litterly 40 meters north of the Thames, I was struggling, and my chest felt dreadful. I live in Walkthamstow, and quite near one of London's busiest thoroughfares (the lea Bridge rd), but even so my chest has improved remarkably since the switch to home working

As I understand it (It's a long, long time since I've been a member of the Labour party, and most of my campaigning seems to draw me more into the orbit of Trot, anarchist and green groupings), it varies hugelky from boroufgh to borough, but in gen eral there's been a big Left resurgence over the past 5 or so years, especially in the inner boroughs and the student-heavt areas

It's actually about back to the state it was in 30 years ago IMO, having lived here for a large proportion of my life. All we get are plasters over the top which reduce it short term but don't address the underlying problem of just masses of petrol-burning road vehicles and why they are there. The congestion charge, for instance, made a big difference for a few years and then after that it was just back to normal.
