Why you and others feel so compelled to spring to the defence of such an individual is frankly beyond me.

I simply said that it's not "mods/others" job to contact 'the relevant bodies' about your concerns, is it?
If you're so convinced he's a danger to others why not act on it instead of passing the civic duty to others?

Stan's about 50. He's a highly visible gringo drunk itinerant who's hardly got the nous to exert persistent control over anyone. He's posted a tonne of stuff about control (and the unbearability of losing control), and reacts viciously when his ego is punctured.

I haven't seen him post anything that leads me to think he's a child abuser or rapist. Despite the fact that he appears to be controlling, vengeful, and fuelled by revenge fantasies to any perceived sleight. If he was, I can't imagine he'd get away with anything for more than half a day.

He'd probably start a thread about it on urban, ffs.

I think it is, in part, because he is both pathetic and spontaneous. He doesn't have actual plans. He just spews out rage and hatred when his self-importance is punctured.
