Living off the land 100%

I was interested in the grand plan to buy a Spanish abandoned village and turn it into a commune of some ilk. I now dread to think of what kinds of Waco/Jonestown/William Golding/ heart of darkness mashup it would have been. No one here gets out alive kinda vibe

He lacks necessary manipulative charm for that sort of venture. No one in reality would stay around long enough to get bamboozled.

Stanley Edward's blog post today says he's just 'harvested goodies to cook' but we will now probably never know quite what this might mean, could be anything. :(
He probably just went back to that veg market though.

Ooooh he's got better photos on there than he put on here!....nice to see him in 'action' so to speak.

Slumped in a piss stained chair, foraged rice krispies dribbling down his front, and slurring this over the p.a to an ever dwindling band of the sort of people who are so shallow they're impressed by anyone who can apparently hold a paintbrush the right way round.

OK. I will explain what Socialism means to me, and you can all knock me down.

Socialism means working to your best ability to make a better society.

It is about working together.

It is about working.

In other words...

It is not about skiving and relying on others.

The state of this chancer wagging his finger at anyone.

Out of the haze a cockney accent grazes the sun and is better than everyone else who is shit and judgmental - i can save tu it croaks in belgianse. Look at my colony.

Why do you care? From his posts he seems like someone I wouldn't mind having a pint with. I probably wouldn't want to do the same with a lot of the weirdos piling in here to accuse him of being an alkie sex abuser to be honest. If he's being dishonest about his life and the stories he's accumulated then fair enough to give him shit, but if he's not - then it looks like a fairly interesting life hes got going on. We all have flaws. He just seems to broadcast them more than most.

I do think he's right for what it's worth that there is a bit of jealousy from plenty here. I know I'm envious. I used to have a similar freewheelin lifestyle, travelling the world on a whim, meeting randoms, spending time with them, learning from them, waking up in a new place, deciding i might spend an extra day or week if i fancied it with not a bother in the world. I know that kind of thing scares the shit out of a lot of people worried about their 9-5s, mortgages. But fuck it. Life's short. If he and his lifestyle winds you up this much then you're a fucking idiot. Sorry.

Based on the number of replies he gets to his threads - he's pure box office on here. You'd miss him if he did completely fuck off, admit it.
I think you are absolutely right. I've known Stan for years and even though he can occasionally be a massive wind-up merchant on here, in real life he is sound.

What was surely.
They were fairly self explanatory, if you read them I am sure even you will understand their intent.
They were attempting, so far as I could see, to suggest the existence of a general phenomenon on the basis of the behaviour of "a number" (unspecified) of unspecified people. One thing they most certainly weren't was "self-explanatory".

ETA: and no, what is. Since you are still making equally obfuscatory posts.

Just to get back to the serious stuff:

Well the lead singer did leave straight after that - the rest tried to carry on and hit the club circuit for a few years but it just petered out.

I did think that the lead was talented but hamstrung by the rest of the band - surprised we didn't hear from him again actually - didn't he emigrated somewhere?
