What is dishonest is acknowledging that you're only talking about the behaviour of "a number" and yet going on to paint the whole lot with the same brush.

What's even more dishonest is using your unwillingness to read threads properly as a justification for just sloppy generalisation. Why should anyone take what you write seriously, given that you admit to such dishonesty?

Not unwilling, more unable, I have less time than I used to. But the individuals I am thinking of who so happily had a go at Stanley I have seen plenty of times doing the same to others so I don't recognise any dishonesty thanks and I think it is an odd way to engage with me frankly.

I think a wiser policy might be to restrict your posting to threads where you have made a decent effort to follow events, rather than punching out platitudinous drivel based on a selective reading of a couple of posts you like the look of...which quite a lot of your output on this thread looks like it is.

Well the lead singer did leave straight after that - the rest tried to carry on and hit the club circuit for a few years but it just petered out.

I did think that the lead was talented but hamstrung by the rest of the band - surprised we didn't hear from him again actually - didn't he emigrated somewhere?
