Many have asked me what my remaining 49 bands were for the Top50, I imagine in derogatory mode. However, I think it would be interesting to discuss it from a totally friendly point of view and without falling into insults or personal disqualifications.

And to avoid this type of absurd discussions I will put my Top50 without any kind of order:

How do you determine favourite? I have plenty of bands where I have a copy of every album they've made.
Which band is my favourite varies on a near daily basis where I will listen to one performer a lot then not for a while.
I consider myself to have cosmopolitan tastes but there are still half a dozen bands in that list I have never heard of.

Having favourite bands is inherently conservative and you should fight the very idea. Definitely fight it if it means collecting all the Rollilng Stone's albums including the rubbish ones when you could be listening to Stick in the Wheel or Sault or Błoto or something current. Not that I'm not guilty of obsessing over old favourites.

I think most were still going in the early 90s when I arrived in Spain. Or I heard them in bars, at friends etc. I'll look into Décima Victima. I could like it.
I was being sarcastic anyway. Décima Víctima is the best post-punk band in Spain but they were totally underground, also the band was not 100% professional. They are only known by the people who actively lived that music scene in Spain and by those who investigated this music scene.

Spain did not have many talented musicians at that time, but a lot of bands did have a tremendous desire to learn. And DV learned to play very well, despite they had another job that was not music.
