Kit Heath Jewellery - opinions from those that have more of a clue than me?

Amongst other things, I've got the Raxette this for Christmas:

I think she'll like it, but just out of curiosity mainly, I'm wondering whether Kit Heath is seen as a decent jewellery designer/make/whateverit'scalled? I'm totally clueless about these things, I just thought it looked nice and would suit her, and it's within my paltry budget.

I guess context probably matters with this stuff. We're both early 30's, and the Raxette's a brunette whose wardrobe consists almost entirely of black clothes. You can stop thinking goth though. She dresses smart/professional during the day. She's a senior manager at a hospital. She just likes black.

I know she far prefers silver to gold too. I'm not sure I've ever seen her wear any gold jewellery to be honest.

After a few days of intermaweb and high street shopping I've blown my entire Christmas budget now (especially as I also recieved an unexpected £80 fine for being late with my SORN for the motorbike , bastards), but I'm wondering whether I should get her the matching earrings in January as a random 'gift for no reason', just cos she's lovely. What say you Urban fashionistas?

I reckon you should challenge the SORN but if you've already paid it...... I told them I'd never gotten the letter some yrs ago, prove it I think the people of this country need to ask the EU if SORN is legal tbh.

I think you will find they really tightened-up SORN procedures/enforcement a couple of years back. IIRC there are now very few successful challenges.

Ok, I've been back and had a look at the site and I still like that necklace, 7g is a nice weight. I wouldn't go for more than that and matching earrings though but Raxette may feel differently. I like the idea of a random pressie too, rather than waiting for Feb.

Just for the record I am a total jewellery snob and quite a bit of my stuff has been made specifically for me.

I have a couple of ideas for having something made, if ever I have any money.

I don't wear matching sets, but if I like the design of something I'll get the set and wear them separately
