Is the High Street doomed

Ive just read that Yorkshire Tea is now the best selling brand in GB! Thats impressive. Ive never tried it. Id have bet everything on it being PG Tips

I am not a massive tea drinker but stuff like I this I always go supermarket own brand because it’s cheaper

Everyone goes on about Yorkshire tea but I don’t really know the difference. Most of the tea I’ve had this year has been whatever tea bag was in the hotel i was staying at

Some of this is about the high street and highlights fears about it's demise; post offices, pubs, banks, libraries etc.

I suspected something had been brewing for a while

^^^ you mean to say trouble has been brewing for a while ^^^

You just blatantly stole my joke!
Are you stupid or just a cheeky cunt?

Fucking tealeaf!

Not sure Typhoo tea has much impact on the future of the high street. Sounds like a storm in a teacup.

You never know, this might just be a storm in a tea cup.
You haven't learnt.

I wouldn’t say that Brixton’s gentrification has bought much apart from it being as run down, quiet, boarded up etc than I can ever remember it. The worse thing about that is that doesn’t even equal prices will fall, not in this day and age!

Far from just a Brixton thing though. Or even a gentrification thing.
People don’t go out like they used to. Deliveroo, TikTok and Netflix instead of pubs, clubs and restaurants. Sounds very boomer but think there’s more than an element of truth.

Dating apps too. All that energy now largely captured by tinder etc.
