Industrial music and its relationship(??) to fascism

I heard stories from mates who moved in those BM circles that amongst certain groups there was a moratorium on laughing and humour

Jaysus, they must have had a hard time keeping that up.

You'd think so! In fairness a good few of these lads know exactly what non-genre fans think of them. For them (and I think that's the majority) it's no more serious than the good old shock rock of Alice Cooper and Ozzie etc.

And thon scene did also produce Nemi.

(Our receptionist is basically a grown-up East German version of Nemi)

Mostly idle curiosity, also the fact that most of the proper nutters have traditionally hailed from that part of Norway. :D

and they were actually running about killing people , like proper killing and no messing about . Im about 70 percent convinced that shithead was thinking of offering me up as a sacrifice to his cloven hoofed master .

Anyways, back to the industrial stuff . Looks to me like this latest manifestation of German nazi fuckwittery on appearances at least would blend in very well with the industrial nazi chic theme . This lot call themselves the immortals . Its a supposedly leaderless network of flash mobs that appear at moments notice and then disappear . Cops are supposedly having a hard time tracking the ring leaders down .

They are open far right. These things are attempting to bring back the torch light processions of early Weimar far right. Nothing to do with this thread as far as I know.

well it's not just nazis in the industrial scene, it's bands like Psyclon Nine (that i later discovered was named after zyklon b) where the lyrics are really "nihilistic" and dark but there's no overt racism, or if there is they sort of deny it's racist and say things like "our drummer/whatever is jewish" or whatever. But even under those circumstances even if you're not a Nazi you're still a fucking twat, i mean the lead singer of Psyclon Nine has "ubermensch" tattooed across his chest and when asked about it he said some bollocks about the weak and the strong and that sort of shit. And loads of teenage goth girls seem to love it.

There is a band called Aesthetic Perfection as well and I usually quite like their stuff but they did a video of their song "inhuman" with him blacking up  These groups aren't even (overtly) racist, they're just doing it because of the "image" and being "dark". And when challenged on it they always say that people who find that sort of message in the lyrics (and object to them) must just be "idiots".

I don't even think they realise what they're fucking doing :(

i just thought they looked a bit similar

and from what Ive seen on the image search they seem to get up to plenty in the daylight as well. The German neo nazi scene seems to have evolved into a much more middle class affair than the previous bone head stuff. So the change in methods and aesthetics would seem to lend itself more to an industrial music base than the old blood and honour stuff .

maybe they do, they cant all be doing this shit accidentally . Fact is if you jump out there and say your a nazi in most cases your band will be relegated to the far corners of nowhere and get no exposure . However if your ambiguous about it you can endlessly plant little seeds in your followers heads and nudge them in the right direction over time without having to take responsibility. Strikes me as a much more effective tactic, a whole pile of bands that are equally ambiguous filling young peoples heads with the same nihilistic satanist shit and arrows pointing in the same political direction..the far right . If your encouraging people to have the darkest misanthropic take on life, death cults, satanic religion then the darkest form of politics as well is a natural extension of that. If it walks and talks like a duck it tends to be one.
The nazis got nowhere with the boneheads and the hooligans . They need middle class people on board, the respectable class in a bourgouis society . They dont even need to be card carrying members, just sneaking regarders in many cases . Bands that appeal to introspective middle class young people are right up their alley in getting recruits. And they seem to have been aquiring a great many of them of late .

If you're an anti-fash who questions them on it as well you're weak and an idiot and stupid, for not "understanding" how "profound" what theyre tryingto say. I bet they wouldn't say the same things about fash who weren't sure whether they were fash or not.

it doesnt matter how ridiculous the lie is if you keep repeating it often enough..or whatever .

Im standing here ..me and my band thats named after Hitlers jockstrap..in my nazi t shirt giving a nazi salute while immersed in a scene absolutely full of dodge were we all do this, all the time . But youre an idiot for being even a bit suspicious.

Fuck em, Gulags for the lot of them . Except Liabach...and thats primarily because I hate Opus and permed mullets so will give them the benefit of the doubt .

Hardly surprising. Being unambiguous would narrow the potential audience/buying public.

i suspect its not just about money, its also about not immediately putting off the people theyre trying to reach with their message . They point them in the right direction without having to hold their hands the entire way . And by remaining in the sort of mainstream they can preach to a lot more people than being confined solely to the NN music scene where they dont need to convert anyone . It makes them more dangerous than the full on unapologetic ones . Theyre simply being insidious , getting peole comfortable with the themes, the philosophers and the social circles.
Its the same tactic the BNP and others persue..we arent nazis...only stupid intolerant people try to demonise us with that . Plenty of nazis claim not to be nazis.. national anarchists, national bolsheviks, right wing greens...it cuts no ice .

Its the difference between a shite and a turd.

What i don't get is how and why the outrageous neo-nazi bands like No Remorse openly peddle their wares on the web unhindered. If you can bear it, listen to the lyrics on this song below. But places like cdbaby openly sell this shit, which is just mentally OTT. How do they get away with it? Is it because of the laws in USA? I just don't get it how year after year nothing happens about this. Bands like skrewdriver ended up just doing songs about vikings and relics of the past, but this no remorse stuff is just plain sick, and sadly kids will buy it and listen to it!

and as regards all that paganism bollocks, a major part of that stuff is the complete absence of the concept of mercy , in contrast with the judeo christian belief in the meek inheriting the earth , love they neighbour etc . Theres a heavy dose of social darwinianism in there too. The satanism and paganism is an explicit rejection of you cant commit crimes against humanity because your encouraged to hate humanity and reject a morality that commands you to exercise mercy . The satanism feeds directly into the nazism. Its all just hate, darkness, war, violence and death .
Combine those themes and your well up Nazi street as regards your outlook . Add a few dodgy symbols and salutes, philosophers quotes...if your audience is or becomes comfortable with that lot theyll be a lot easier to turn .And theyll bump into plrnty of new freinds at the concerts or bars ...and online..wholl be happy to turn them .

insidious fucks
