Yes. This is the point that I’m now fascinated by. 40 years of the absorption of neo-liberal ideology, the marketisation of the soul and the internalisation of its rules mean huge disorientation at the moment amongst people (including large sections of the left).
We know how this is supposed to go. A bail out to save capital. A limited programme of public ownership is likely. A growing state capital nexus intersects to manage and receive corporate welfare. But what happens to people? How do they think? Feel? What happens when attempts are made to return to ‘reality‘?
I feel simultaneously scared and depressed and yet optimistic that the reflexivity cannot be put back together by capital and it’s managers

Yeah, I turned on the news and they were speaking to some bod about universal income!
Okay I am going to get all LALA here, but on the 12th January 2020 there was a Grand Conjunction of Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn: When Saturn Pluto meet, their proximity constellates a period of intensified tension, constraint, and division in collective events. While societal structures decay and breakdown, there’s room to build anew. This all happened in Earth bound Capricorn, a Cardinal ruler, and a very stern and very unforgiven sign. The last time they were in Conjunction World I began and and then again in 1939 Hitler rose to power. Because this happened in Earthbound Capricorn, this has manifested in Nature... eg. the barbaric wet markets in China produced this pandemic... I am sure there will many to come on here to debunk this, but if you track back the stars positions there is no coincidence!

Extraordinary times and a new world is being born. Agree that once these measures are in place it will be very difficult to reverse them. Large sections of the economy have been closed down and will take a long time to get back up and running. Are they going to put 8 million people (or however many will have no work) on universal credit? More likely people will be working for the state / local authorities enmasse working to repair and rebuild. Are they going to throw all the homeless people they are about to put up in hotels back out onto the street?
The mutual aid groups who have sprung up may end up playing a key role in post virus society.
The potential implications of this are far reaching. We will be living in a more frugal world, but one where the role of state will be to ensure people basic needs on a similar scale to what it was in the soviet states of yore.
The challenge will be to fight for that power to be in the hands of the people.
The potential implications for how the world responds to other emergencies such as climate change are huge.
And has money now become an essentially meaningless concept?

Rental properties are up 13% nationally in Ireland. Apparently the tourism industry has taken a big hit from corinavirus and this month alone 400 one and two bed apartments went up on Daft.ie for rent. That's up from 250 last year.
There will be lots more availability of rental property all over Ireland. This can only be good for anyone trying to find a home to rent. Prices seem to be dropping too.
Another development is the sudden absence of overcrowding in hospitals A & E units. Possibly because people are redefining what a "hospital emergency " is and nit clogging up the system with minor ailments. (I may be cynical about this) It could be that people are terrified to go to hospital in case they pick up coronavirus. But the national stats for people waiting in trolleys in hospitals right across the country is extremely interesting. Down to between 0 and 5 most days for the past 2 weeks.

In the very least the UK gov will have to reconsider the idea of nurses and other vital, underpaid workers not being valuable enough to be allowed into the country and at least they will have a good excuse to back out of their previous thinking.
I do think sadly there is a different between them acting in a 'socialist' type way and actually keeping that up once this passes.
