As much as I liked Nita with Alice I'd have to say I preferred Orianthi with Alice out of the two ladies. I saw them on the Halloween night of fear gig, excellentI've just been stalking Nita Strauss who has now left Alice Cooper and am not keen on what she appears to be doing now. Anyway, bit old, but just found this Various - She Rocks
I saw The Early Mornings on Saturday.
Would recommend.
This is not for me but it reminds me of Courtney Barnett (whom I also didn't dig at first - she grew on me).
I like them much better live.

Forgot to do this didn't I It was fantastic. Death Valley Girls all seem about 15 (to an old git like me, at least) but they definitely rock, in a suitably SoCal too-cool-to-really-break-a-sweat kinda way.Going to see Death Valley Girls tonight, supported by local punk band Dinky Bossetti (fronted by a trans woman). No idea if the former have been posted here yet but I'm pretty certain the latter won't have been. Will report back if anyone's interested.
