Someone on the radio suggested that wearing glasses was better than wearing contact lenses in the effort to touch the face less. Obvious bollocks.

I think there’s some truth in that. I had to stop wearing contact lenses as I kept getting meibomian cysts on my eyelids that had to be surgically removed. That’s not happened since I started wearing glasses
