Hain has just resigned, sadly it won't make any difference to the implementation of the welfare reforms which are now being driven by senior civil servants. He is the 5th DWP secretary in six years and yet the changes go on remorselessly. But good riddance to bad rubbish, the zeal with which he was pushing through the cuts, etc, won't be forgotten.
