I would wager plenty of it must pop up on eBay though? I doubt first class passengers would be confronted if the cabin crew notices any crockery missing- not that the flight attendants are likely to give that much of a fuck about missing glassware. They introduced new crockery and stuff in first last year, which is what they are flogging, alongside 747 specific tat. Sadly they are not selling their new first class glassware, which is exquisite.

I remember the good old days of record shops in London punting out cheap Sennheiser HD25's with the British Airways logo on them, they were about 1/3 of the price of normal HD25's, no box . Something about Club Class headphones that weren't kept by passengers or some such tall tale. Anyway, I had a few pairs, still have half a pair but no logo.
Oh look, Concorde apparently! SOS Forum • Any truth this story? Sennheiser HD25 headphones
I managed to swipe 10 pairs of headphones from Concorde, (HD25's ), so a set of PJ's should be no problem.
On the general subject of this thread, I was just saying to the missus today that flight bargain hunters should probably take a punt now with their 2021 flights. Because I reckon the impending arrival of three seemingly effective vaccines will likely switch public confidence and demand for air travel overnight from ‘can’t fly/ won’t fly’ to ‘we’re fucking doing two holidays and five city breaks in 2021’.
I’d be interested to hear your predictions on the outlook Bahnhof Strasse
I knew you'd have a story about these!

There's not currently massive bargains to be had. We were supposed to go to Japan in the summer, (eventually) got a refund from Lufthansa and looked at Easter, BA then came up with sale prices for all of 2021, £1200 business round trip, direct. I have never seen BA, JAL or ANA less than £3000 before (hence why we were on Lufthansa for this year, £1400 in business). Then Easter started to look dodgy so didn't commit and the fares are now back to regular levels. Still think Easter will be very hit or miss for travel, but the summer's looking fairly promising. With the reduced quarantine starting 15th December and quarantine for short business trips looking like it will be scrapped totally early January, I reckon if they start to offer discounted tickets again for the summer it's worth a punt, worse that will happen is the money turns in to a voucher. Airlines often have sales in January and February, if travel looks like it will be allowed to open again I would imagine there will be a number of very good sales, just to get some much needed cash in. So we're holding out until then, (tho have got a long, 5 month) option some Lufthansa's to Tokyo as back up...
Bahnhof Strasse in your experience what is the best way of getting cheap tickets, especially upgraded ones? Buy as early as possible or wait for the sale?
I heard from some BA pilots that yesterday they were briefed that most/all of the front seats on longhaul out of Gatwick in December are taken
Teaboy, BA has just announced their latest sale, SFO for £297 return inc tax. not that you can go to the US right now, but you know, it's the thought that counts, plus they have very decent rates all through 2021, I am working on US travel being permitted by the summer... https://www. britishairways .com/travel/low-price-finder/public/en_gb
Blumming crikey, watch that nose dip as the load is released*.
*fnar.

I've done it and have taken the risk. I just couldn't resist some of the prices and having nothing in the calendar for the whole year was just too depressing for words. £1600 for a business class seat for a 14 hour return flight to South America is an absolute steal. I'm sure things will be a bit better by December...
I've decided to not to look at the covid forum on here this year because it'll just scare me.
Where are you going, Brazil?
You've not heard about the South American variant?
