Did anyone ever throw eggs at Brenda? If someone has started chucking them at Chucky (See what I did there?) this early into his reign, it's a very promising sign.
Back when I was in Camden stop the poll tax there were a couple of egging incidents, the first after a public meeting where some council bigwig was talking - sadly the eggs missed, but they didn't at a 92 council mtg where the mayor and speaker got hit squarely: a rapid exit prevented any arrests. Don't recall any royal egging incidents tho

John Major got egged in St George's Square Luton when he chose to launch his 1997 campaign in the town. Perhaps its an omen for Charlie?

Patrick Thelwell, who threw five eggs at King Charles during a visit to York on 9 November 2022, has now been found guilty of threatening behaviour.

All five of the eggs missed.

His reported comments on the country's foundations were not refuted.
