I hummus, therefore I am ...
I'd had them for 20 years ... somehow twice so far this year I must have managed to leave them out in the garden long enough for the little barstewards to have them away
So I now have a Millets account and I took a punt on a "river ranger" hat as my backup as it claims to actually be vaguely waterproof ... I was putting up with getting my bush hats a little soggy ... I have a full-on stiff waxed cotton hat somewhere but it made me feel a bit over-equipped most of the time.
At some point I will need caps for ocean-based activities - and I'm still cautious about buying genuine Breton fishing caps as being a tad culturally appropriative ...
Millets do a "Castro hat" - but only in one size ...
