Well, that's disappointing. I was imagining one could just cook a regular pancake really thickly and then put fillings in and then bake it crispy in the oven.

And yes, I too remember the cheese and ham filling - from back in the 70s. I doubt I've eaten any since 1980.
I also remember one of the stores had a cheaper look-alike product that was utter crap.

Had a craving , and bought some in Iceland - not having had some for decades - massively dissapointed all round "Fings aint what they used to be"
Used to be a standard breakfast meal when on early shifts - around 0930 or so -a nice pair of beef Findus pancakes with beans.
St Albans - right near the station on Victoria St - bout 3 months ago.
Had to smuggle them into the house.
And aren't they Nestle in disguise??
