It proves he acted like a pissed up dick and I doubt there's any contributer to this thread that can deny ever having done that.
To be clear, this above statement is the lie. Saul did say the "disputed words" but it was reported speech (ie he was reporting what someone else said; as gabi has also done repeatedly on this thread) rather than direct speech (ie he himself meaning it). Difference is saul only said it once, drunk, and fucking regretted and apologised realising it was offensive, and everyone there accepted this. Whereas gabi has repeatedly typed (said) it again and again to score cheap points on a bulletin board. Whilst also having proven that he doesnt care about actual racist abuse happening in real life.

Er, nope. He blamed acting the dick on being drunk, the quote was A. misheard and B. taken out of context.
The person that barred him has since been satisfied with his apology (for acting like a tool) and explanation (of the remark).
to be honest, it doesn't really concern me, i'm not that bothered. i don't like people being rude to bar staff, but he wasn't even barred so it must have been pretty minor. and loads of people i would consider friends have actually been barred from pubs for acting the dick while in drink. people are far from perfect.
I notice that you're not asking where I'm getting the fact that you've been first hand witness to outright racist actions by the landlord of a pub, but did nothing to stop it and were still happy to recommend the pub and actually say it was "great".

I'm not losing sleep over it, and being rude to bar staff is probably something they get used to and can manage very well in their line of work. I personally find lazy xenophobic rudeness really annoying and I think If I was stood beside someone who said that I'd have kicked them in the nuts....and left it at that.

Probably because, like a lot of so called Clapton fans, they just didn't know....which is why I think it important to keep reminding them that their white man peddling(and ruining) black music and making millions off of it was so vehement about getting 'wogs out' to a packed auditorium of middle englanders and that he has never apologised, explained or even really defended his position. He has even had the front to pretend it was a 'a joke' while continuing to spout his support for Enoch Powell. Not a nice chap, not an intelligent chap, not even a very good performer, just another musical magpie with an ego and rich tastes in bigotry.
if everyone just did that then this thread wouldn't exist and the world would probably be a much simpler and better place.
