Etiquette upon recovering from the virus

I'm not rushing out to see my friends btw, but I am out of isolation as of today. But consider the case of my housemate, for whom there is no ambiguity - high temperature and fever for days, painful cough etc. She doesn't need to get tested to know she has had it. I don't think it's going to work to tell people they must get tested to assume they've had it when (a) testing is not available and (b) it's blinking obvious they've had it.

The thing is, if there really is evidence that people who have had the virus are still testing positive, then definitely having had the virus doesn't make you any safer, it makes you , on balance, more likely to be a vector than someone who has not had the virus.

Even if you had it, it is not known yet your level of immunity or for how long. As others have said, without testing, you could still be shedding the virus.

The way you behave wrt to the lockdown and social distancing is exactly the same as it was, at least for now.
