years ago at residential college, one of the regular meals was cheese and potato pie. With a side of mashed potato.
It was shit.
No. You can argue about the ethics and business practices ( like any non co-operative local vegan restaurant or restaurant chain) all day long. It's shit isn't it?
I really want this for dinner now. Bonus if all items contain coconut because I’m obsessed currently.Any kind of aloo dish, pilau rice and naan

But the food is pretty good. Excellent on some offers.

Jamaican veg patty in a toasted pitta bread.... Often cut patty in two and make it two pittas.
If feeling fancy can add coleslaw
Good lunch, a patty on its own isn't filling enough
I wasn't trying to tell anyone what to eat. I just think Nandos is rubbish.Did I say either of you should? Should you tell other people what to eat? Absolutely fucking not.
I just suggested this to OH who loves double carbing it, loves Jamaican patties, and loves putting things in pitta bread - and he just looked utterly horrified - I think you broke him
And let's be completely clear here, I am talking about a man who regularly puts stuff in un-iced doughnut shells (which he gets for free from work) and then nukes them.

Sounds ok. But chips on the side would add to it…
I mean though if you are going there, why not put them in the pitta?
I used to get kebab from this great place near where I lived when I lived in Hackney when I was first in London and lived in that part of town - mixed shish, Turkish pide, rice, chips - it was all served separately so you'd get a box of rice topped with the meat, a box of salad, a box of chips, and a massive pide - absolutely lush and another great multi-carb experience.
Its true, for me if eating out its mainly turkish food and when the bread comes i always think its surplus but it always gets eaten, despite the chips and rice (i prefer bulgar wheat tho)I used to get kebab from this great place near where I lived when I lived in Hackney when I was first in London and lived in that part of town - mixed shish, Turkish pide, rice, chips - it was all served separately so you'd get a box of rice topped with the meat, a box of salad, a box of chips, and a massive pide - absolutely lush and another great multi-carb experience.
Love pide. Tried it Turkey last year for the first time. Never have I enjoyed a holiday so much for food. I hate to imagine how much weight I'd gain if I lived there are

That looks good!Oh I have a recipe suggestion for a very easy version that seems to be nearly foolproof:
No-knead Turkish bread - Lazy Cat Kitchen
Our no-knead Turkish bread is the easiest bread you will make as it requires no kneading, only just mixing the ingredients and then shaping. It comes out light and airy.www.lazycatkitchen.com
That looks good!
I'm definitely going to try this, thanks!I do it using this recipe fairly frequently and can vouch that it works and provides very tasty Turkish style bread!
I don't cook it on quite that high a temp cos my oven is fierce as fuck, I find 220 to 230C sufficient.
