2016 Elections: This Year's Extremist Candidate for the Texas State Board of Education - Texas Freedom Network

When the flood waters subsided and rushed to the oceans there was no vegetation on the earth because the earth had been covered with water. … The dinosaurs on [Noah’s ark] may have been babies and not able to reproduce. … After the flood, the few remaining Behemoths and Leviathans may have become extinct because there was not enough vegetation on earth for them to survive to reproductive age.

Climate change has nothing to do with weather or climate; it is all about system change from capitalism (free enterprise) to Socialism-Communism. The Climate Change HOAX was Karl Marx’s idea. It took some time to ‘condition’ the people so they would believe such a ridiculous HOAX.

Obama has a soft spot for homosexuals because of the years he spent as a male prostitute in his twenties. That is how he paid for his drugs. He has admitted he was addicted to drugs when he was young, and he is sympathetic with homosexuals; but he hasn’t come out of the closet about his own homosexual/bisexual background.

As a religious nutter she should know that leviathan was meant to be a sea monster so god knows why they would be wiped out by a lack of vegetation.

I think perhaps they mean "would rather resign than have to be open about torturing people" and of course the donald would be proclaiming it proudly.

Well that's his schtick, the fact he's his own largest donor is part of his appeal "unlike those other politicians Trump has had a proper job and is rich so he is his own man"
IIRC,he started off with 8 bill and is now down to his last 1bill, hopefully this escapade will finish him financially.

Trump did everything but start chanting "Jeb Bush, we know you, Daddy was a killer too" in Saturday night's debate:

"George Bush made a mistake. We can make mistakes, but that one was a beauty. We should have never been in Iraq."

"I will tell you. They lied. And they said there were weapons of mass destruction and there were none. And they knew there were none. There were no weapons of mass destruction."

"The World Trade Center came down during the brother’s reign, remember that. That’s not keeping us safe."

if trump had been in charge presumably iraq would be a glowing plain of glass

I'm not sure if it would - he claims to have been strongly against the invasion at the time, there's not much on the record about that, but this is what he had to say in mid-2004:

"Look at the war in Iraq and the mess that we're in. I would never have handled it that way. Does anybody really believe that Iraq is going to be a wonderful democracy where people are going to run down to the voting box and gently put in their ballot and the winner is happily going to step up to lead the country? C'mon. Two minutes after we leave, there's going to be a revolution, and the meanest, toughest, smartest, most vicious guy will take over. And he'll have weapons of mass destruction, which Saddam didn't have.

"What was the purpose of this whole thing? Hundreds and hundreds of young people killed. And what about the people coming back with no arms and legs? Not to mention the other side. All those Iraqi kids who've been blown to pieces. And it turns out that all of the reasons for the war were blatantly wrong. All this for nothing!"

Of course, he can be right about Iraq and still be scum - IIRC, the BNP were also strongly opposed to the invasion.

I woke up at 3am to tweets from the debate, this is getting weird.

as if this circus needed any more players, Scotus Con. Scalia dies and we're going to get a potential nine month, bitter constitutional deadlock/battle running concurrently / completely intertwined with the election, with the potential domesday scenario for GOP of Dem win / Dem maj on Scotus .
Fun.

The debate last night looked like an embarassment from the high / lowlights 'you're a liar' 'no you're a liar' 'your brothers a liar' etc etc

Last night's debate was a fucking car crash - of course very amusing for it.

Carson ends with a fake Stalin quote. Kasich says that Saudi Arabia is one of the civilised cultures that respects the equality of women. The moderator calls out Cruz for lying about when a supreme court justice was last elected in a lame duck year and the audience BOO the moderator when he says "I'm just trying to sort out the facts." Cruz shouts at Rubio in spanish for not being spanish enough while arguing about who out of the two sons of immigrants would remove more immigrants. Trump says planned parenthood does good things for women's health, and also comes out against GWBush which frankly is astonishing considering how sacred past gop presidents are to the whole ethos of the party, and if he maintains his support after that then what are they? Post-Republican? Apolitical following the cult of personality? It's all absolutely fascinating stuff.

Indeed. Trump's performance last night must surely mean that - if he wins South Carolina - that the GOP establishment will just pick one of the others (Cruz probably, they would no doubt prefer Rubio or Jeb but you just can't see either of them winning a fight like the one that will take place), turn it into an incredibly vicious two horse race and force everyone else to bow out.

edit: also, there is this article on last night
