Instead of hinting at the 'interesting spat' as some sort of passive-aggressive gibe, why not just take a breath, summon your courage, and start discussing it - just overcome your fear that the conversation might take a direction other than the one you had planned.

What does 'going there' prove one way or another? Pretty sure that if you go to South Dakota you are going to get a very different idea of the demographic profile of the US working-class than you would in say South Carolina or Louisiana.

Exactly. So, one cannot say that Trump and/or Clinton voters all do one specfic thing for one specific reason.

That said; how many black/hispanic/asian/LGBT voters voted Trump? And were they working class?
