Not really the Bearded Wonder has been actively involved (to varying degrees) in all the businesses that bear his name at some point. He runs Airways and Galactic and just holds varying stakes usually around 10% or so in most of the others. I think the only ones he's sold completely are Virgin Active and Virgin Records. Massively irritating though he is he does at least seem to be an actual businessman.
Trump is just a grifter who got born into an already rich family and done his best to make them a poor family.

Sorry didn't mean to suggest all Branson's companies were just licenced names but he has done that with some "virgin" companies. The music label was sold to EMI years ago.
