Not surprising that they note who nominated the judge, but still. Not Trump but certainly Trump-related, Guiliani look pretty fucked over this:

Giulliani reportedly doesn’t have a bean, so they won’t see any money anyway. Although strangely he was able to fly in for his arraignment on a private jet. Someone is throwing money at these cunts.

Fire sale to cover expenses or to hide his monies before the judgement goes against him. Maybe he thinks he can then fall back on the state for support with housing, medical care etc. Oh I forgot the US doesn't believe in this as it's too communist/ woke (insert whatever new bogeyman is flavour of the month).Rudy Giuliani Selling New York City Home for $6.5 Million
The embattled former mayor has owned the three-bedroom apartment since 2002www.mansionglobal.com
Well exactly. I'd happily swap all my beans for 6.5 mill in assets.
there is now a small but loud batshit fundie population in the RCC, who started off before bergoglio's election but gained alot of steam after. one bishop has more or less openly declared himself to be MAGA.
a fresh example being being his reported comment that "the american church is backwards." that'll get their dander up. but he didn't say that, and what he did say is precisely long established and widely agreed doctrine. (in case you're interested the transcript is here, scroll down to Francisco who spent a year in the states ‘The Water Has Been Agitated’ - LA CIVILTÀ CATTOLICA)There is a lot of content aimed at Catholics online which is deliberately designed to drive that - article after article with clickbait headlines which nearly always ended up a report of him having said something that is long established and widely agreed doctrine.
Have seen it reported on Xitter that all court proceedings in the election interference case against former President Donald Trump and 18 co-defendants will be live streamed and televised but can't access the site from UK so no idea if it's bollix.
Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. No doubt trump will exploit it to the max.it's true.

You could just have a video loop of him pleading the 5th.he's going to have to repeatedly plead the 5th isn't he?
Would think he'd be easy for a lawyer to provoke and get him ranting awayhe's going to have to repeatedly plead the 5th isn't he?
Ugh, this is so much his nature. Constant contradiction and u-turns. Often in the same speech/interview/sentence.Starting off with something like "You see the mob takes the Fifth," he said during one rally in Iowa. "If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?"
I read a report on one of his earlier court appearances saying he looked like he was shitting it and looked 'diminished'. It was saying that contrasted with his bluster and aggression about the cases when he's outside the courtroom and would probably lower his stock if it could be viewed publicly (I won't find the article - Guardian - but that was the gist of it). At the very least self preservation will take over and he'll have to reign in the accusations and bluster and won't look quite as brave in the court room. If of course he takes the stand. Can't decide if that's a good thing or a bad thing. No doubt trump will exploit it to the max.
Who's going to get to him in solitary? Also, I still can't see him seeing the inside of a prison cell. If nothing else, the practicalities of someone with lifelong secret service protection going inside would be mind boggling.
2 of the main Jan 6th rioters have gotten 17 & 15 years each. He ought to spend some time behind bars. He'll take the fifth, won't do time and will go on to be PotUS.
Oh he should.Who's going to get to him in solitary?

But it will almost certainly be a the premise of a Netflix series within two years. Also, I still can't see him seeing the inside of a prison cell. If nothing else, the practicalities of someone with lifelong secret service protection going inside would be mind boggling.
