Hey, Dean Yager!
Well do you?

I check it out as it's a handy supplement or counterpoint to mainstream newspapers and independent media outlets, and it's often fucking hilarious with it.

rarely these days. I used to read it every week, but it started to get on my tits. Even the worthwhile campaigning is just a bit too smug these days

Agree with this. Although I still read it as it uncovers some very interesting stuff.

Used to subscribe to it many years ago.

Probably picked it up a handful of times in the last 10 years.

yes i read it every fortnight.

it's very hit and miss but a lot of the more detailed stuff is very interesting.

I used to read it cover to cover, every edition. After a while though, it became a bit samey tbh.

I've read it on and off not religiously for years.

When I moved abroad I took out a subscription, which proved to be handy for keeping up to date with office politics as where I worked featured in it seemingly ever other issue.

I had a subscription but it ran out. I didn't cancel it.

I've had a subscription for years, and don't plan on cancelling. It works quite well for me as a fortnightly catch-up on what's been in the news, because I don't read the papers.

I am expecting Pig Champion to come back from the dead and call everyone fat bastards

I read it sometimes. Wouldn't subscribe to it. I used to love it back in the 70s/80s though, so I feel a bit sentimentally attached.

Priceless. :D

Recently lapsed subscriber and not really missing it. The jokes are wearing thin and the journalism is, in its way, as biased and shrill as the Mail's.

It's a great paper, but I only buy it occasionally.

I like the way this poll is anonymous, yet the wanking one is public. :D

I tend to buy it when I'm at work to read on the journey/night shifts. I haven't read it in over a year but I start back at work next week . . .

Used to pick it up if it was lying around, recently I've been buying it every fortnight. Quite a good read.

had a subscription for several years, perfect bog reading! it sits alongside last months Runners World. It is very good for picking up stories that don't get other national publicity, and has a hit rate of proper exposes/costs better than any daily paper. Sure, a lot of it's shite, but the good stuff makes it wel worthwhile.

And I did used to like telling the tories who sung its praises how they were supporting the SWP every time they bought a copy. Whenever the SW appeal would have a shortfall in the eighties, PE would stump up any necessary shortfall cos they were still cheaper then anyone else, even with an extra 20k a year on top of official costs.

Very rarely read it.Not a fan...Establishment wank really. I remember Scallywag magazine that showed what kind of a magazine private eye could have been but it was always safer than scallywag and just a bit boring really.

Yes, of course, a complete piece of establishment wank.

Haven't read a copy or bought one for a while, but was a regular reader from 14 til about 2 years ago (34).
