I'm from London but I've never had them and they don't appeal to me at all. However I do know somebody friend and ex colleague "Well 'Ard" who was quite keen on them and used to go on about some Tubby Isaacs fella.

It's nothing like that.... I quite like the jelly in pork pies ...
They don't sound very appealing to me. A bit like pork scratchings, another food item with a a non-appetizing nameBy all accounts they sound utterly rank.
Myself and "Well 'Ard" used to play darts in "The City Darts" pub on Commercial St just around the corner from Mr Isaac's stall.Tubby Isaac's stall seems to have gone from it's Aldgate pitch, but I think I saw it on the Suffolk coast last month....i forget where now....
Pork scratchings are lush though. Salty crunchy porky goodness. They don't sound very appealing to me. A bit like pork scratchings, another food item with a a non-appetizing name
If they were good enough for Ian Dury
... they still taste fucking disgusting.
All over the Bay City Rollers. He clearly wants to be sick.
Hmmm, deffo not getting my taste buds flowing. "Pork scratchings, chicken itchings, donkey's scabs...".Pork scratchings are lush though. Salty crunchy porky goodness.

They're a joke food that Cockney's made up to disgust tourists with.
it should be a publick pollMy Kiwi boyfriend reckons everyone in Britain eats jellied eels but I maintain that nobody does and if there is anyone that does, they are exclusively from the East End of London. Who's right?
you should have this jolly fellowI'm not from London, although I've lived here most of my life. I eat jellied eels most weeks. I love them.
ETA:
This is me, aged about 15, not in London, at the fish stall I managed.
