Best quote I heard was from Alan Parsons... “Audiophiles don't use their equipment to listen to your music. Audiophiles use your music to listen to their equipment.”
He could easily have shortened that to "Wankers!"
Indeed :D

I don’t know how good B&O are supposed to be. I just know they’re established high-end hifi makers with a prestigious rep. But surely £45K is too much to ask for a CD player no matter how well made it is?
my guess is the original one became a bit of a holy grail collectors piece and chances are wouldn't work properly now, so theyve made a very limited run of these for that tiny market hence the extra high price

Some gems here :D
"The H2 Harmonizer System is yet another impossible-to-explain room treatment that works—in this case, markedly increasing three-dimensionality, better „disappearing“ loudspeakers, widening the soundstage, enriching tone color, and heightening transient energy, top to bottom, to an extend that’s kinda incredible.”

Absolute wankers! 🤣

but

they it comes in pairs use crystals!!!

WOO

also: they can be used in a car for added philishness

This is kinda weird.

They won’t sell though…too cheap!! :D

That is cheap. Is that what they cost now? Last time I bought an optical cable it cost me a bonkers amount of money. Those were DAT days though. Maybe I was going from MD to DAT or the other way, maybe a Tascam digital 8 track thing that I had.

I guess it costs them nothing to punt this shit at $10k a go, and if they don't get any buyers, they can just call it "Crystal Bronze" and fly another kite at $2k?

I'm in the wrong business.

It's a great business model. Buy a load of cheap audio components. Re-badge them as 'crystal infused' or whatever, and mark them up by 10000%. Jobs a goodun.
