ive been uploading to mixcloud and then using a google account for a permanent download link. You get 15gb per gmail account!

It's Google Drive that hosts the files. Your Gmail account uses it for any attachments, too, which is probably what Ska means (as well as your Gmail login being the way to login to your Drive account).
