Did You Vote LibDem?

Why? The LibDems are being blamed for the existence of the Tory government. It follows that if there were no LibDems, there would be no Tory government.

If Labour had brought in PR during their 13 years of power there would now be a Lib Dem/Labour pact and no Tory Government ergo you could just as easily blame Labour.

Yes that's my prefered option; no wait soemone else told me I wanted to sterilise africans...that must be it.

Alternatively you could stop making stuff up. My alternative is for working class people to create their own alternatives, inside and outside parliament, inside and outside the council chamber, at work and where they live. I trust them to come up with better answrs than those currently on offer.

Louis MacNeice

and they've successfully done this and you've been in a collectivized workers union which is having success in running it's local principality right....

or you've done nothing and are talking stoner pipe dreams of little relevance ands sit idly by whilst the world overtakes your day dreaming nonsense and does little to change....

I put it to you that regardless of the possible outcomes that everyone should vote even if it's just to spoil your paper.

or risk being disenfranchised and by extension deemed irrelevant in regards to the system that is...
I am disenfranchised. I had the choice of three neoliberal parties (or the SNP, Greens or UKIP).

This thread has all gone wrong :(

No there wouldn't be. The lib-dems are tories, they're not interested in an anti-tory majority. We'd have the same shit but with the lib dems having more seats in a stronger tory/lib-dem govt. And you'd still be defending that.

No, it is the actions of the Lib Dems being accused here, not their existence.

I've changed my mind, actually. Given the extraordinarily large majority that the Tories have in my constituency, I think next time I'll just follow my gut and vote for the Greens. If it is going to make fuck-all difference anyway, I might as well vote for the party I am genuinely closest to.

OTOH, if by the time the next election rolls round I have moved to a marginal Tory/X constituency, I'll still vote for X. Sorry.

Now you've just stopped making sense altogether; you could try cutting back on the putting words in people's mouths and upping the thinking before you post.

Seriously go away, the people with actual political opinions are talking here.

is the essence of everyone of these threads....

That's very adult of you. I congratulate you. I don't like the Greens (or voting), but I respect your position.

I'm genuinely looking forward to what kind of impact Caroline Lucas has on national politics. She is already getting more publicity than I would have expected.

isn't that the whole point of voting... it should be the ones you feel best represent you...

not some tactical I'm betting on the winner thing...

Why are you so desperate to win an argument - any argument - that you'll happily move the goals posts, post inventions and refuse to acknowledge mistakes? It's really very odd.

Louis MacNeice

It gets worse.

Bloke A murders bloke B. Bloke A therefore gets "blamed" for murdering bloke B. It follows that if bloke A had never been born, bloke B would have lived forever.

that's not fucking you tho is it son...

No, it is you know.

Excellent. On two levels. First, you are allowed to put words and thoughts in my mouth and mind, but you complained earlier others were doing that to you. Secondly, you have not long ago rounded on me for advocating not voting. How does that square with me now advocating voting Labour? :D

To be clear: I don't advocate voting Labour; the Labour Party is a disgrace, and an enemy of the class it was created to represent.

Apart from the engines and the cockpit I think they are all useful for multiple purposes. Except for the R2-D2 shaped brick.

"Aparet from the suspiciously specialist blocks, they are not suspiciously specialist blocks".

I'm sorry to hear your job maybe under threat, I don't think taking your anger out on me or calling my friends scum will help or is fair.

You and your friends support the tory government. I think it's entirely fair. Your actions are putting my job under threat. I'm fucking furious tbh.

Louis, have you never come across this glaringly desperate idiot before? It's ok, you don't need to take him seriously.

Not that I've been aware of.

When he says 'well you've said this...' does he mean we're not supposed to quote him; if so that's a truely bizzare position to have on an internet bulleting board!
