OK, let's turn it around. What are the positives of Corbyns leadership failure? Stop the War alienation of the public?

I think we're derailing this thread by looking at that, TBH. This is a thread about Starmer's leadership.

I am happy to continue this on the 'Jeremy Corbyn's Time Is Up' thread if you're happy for me to quote your post on there?

Ok that sounds cool

Yes, emphatically so. The climate is more ripe for a genuine, radical socialist alternative than at any time since winter, 1978/9.
The political mood has shifted hugely in the past few years. Two entire generations have been completely fucked over, and they're angry and ready to listen.
A return to Blairism can't get those millions voting Labour - a red, redistributive, Sanders type campaign can do.
There's never been a better time to be a socialist?

He hasn’t been dogshit.
They’re not his rabble.
I’m glad we have a former DPP to try and sort this disgusting clusterfuck out.

They are exactly his rabble and he appears to have instructed his MPs not to criticise tories for political actions that are very literally killing hundreds every day, I would define that as dogshit

It’s called reading the room. Screaming over social media about things that are sadly too late to change, during a pandemic, might please the lefties but not the general public. The time will come.
Not true he hasn’t criticised the tories though. Did you see him being accused of “not supporting the nhs” after he called the tories out on lack of PPE?
Btw his latest poll has his approval rating at +26.

Labour is a grim, depressing place right now but I don’t see how that makes starmer a bad choice (assuming somebody didn’t loathe him from the start - which I know you did!)
