It is Dulwich though...It is Zone 2 South London after all, which is like Gotham without Batman, so it is quite an achievement considering how much booze is drunk.

I for one welcome our new ChatGPT overlords.Hello i write as a Chippenham supporter who came on Saturday. We won because your team didnt try and frankly wasnt good enough.
If you watch the highlights of Dover v Weymouth it was constant singing and support. Now im sorry but your supporters arent the most vocal and failed to lift the team.
I must admit though you would have needed a JCB to lift that lot, You need a clear out to many people in there for the money and dont care. This has been going on with you lot for a while now.
Its time you on pitch matters were put first and politics be put on the backburner and perhaps you need a few people on you trust who know about the playing side?
Something we noticed is home a fair percentage of your support on the day and reading this thread weren't / arent too bothered you were relegated? The conversation is more were can the children kick a ball during the game?
I can tell you we would have been and maybe thats the difference between us , Weymouth,Dover and Concord and some of you? We want to win ?
This was in your hands you only needed a point regardless!
You are the strangest team we've encountered a strong but not that vociferous crowd. A political club in many regards unlike many some of your fans at home are not the friendliest.
I do not mean aggressive i mean arrogant middle class, I played high grade rugby down home in Cornwall in the front row and met a few just the same. I find being polite to them does the trick they dont know how to react.
We cheered loudly at the end because we won as one of your contributors asked why? We are a far more blue collar fan base than you and perhaps thats why it matters so much to us.
Than to some of your fanbase? Whatever direction your fanbase wants to go i wish you good luck.
A club like yours with a 2000 plus fan base should be doing much better in all honesty?
On travelling to your place it wasnt easy and driving is impossible with the ridiculous tax to come in and out of the metropolis. We've got Yeovil now instead on our tiny budget its a miracle we stay up we are a well managed club on and off the pitch.
Your club needs to decide what it actually wants to be?
So that's where its all been going wrong. Thanks for the input Chips. Enjoy you well organised club trip to Yeovil next seasonHello i write as a Chippenham supporter who came on Saturday. We won because your team didnt try and frankly wasnt good enough.

I was brought up in a terraced house and played high grade rugby (Notts Schools u16 reserve second row) and I must say I've always found conversation with the Dulwich Hamlet middle-classes most agreeable.
I grew up on Tyrrell Road in East Dulwich (my mum still lives there). We played rugby during games at school. Me and my mate Steven used to get rid of the ball as soon as we could before the bigger boys tackled us. I'll talk to anyone given the chance, as long as they want to talk to me, obvsI was brought up in a terraced house and played high grade rugby (Notts Schools u16 reserve second row) and I must say I've always found conversation with the Dulwich Hamlet middle-classes most agreeable.
I think we already have, thanks, and 3,000+ supporters seem fairly happy with it.Your club needs to decide what it actually wants to be?

Still, well done on almost completing the Dulwich Clichés bingo card. You now only need "beards" and "craft beer" for a full set.
This is fun! I grew up in a shitty tin mining town in Cornwall that had the 2nd highest unemployment level and highest teenage pregnancy rates in the UK, and appalling levels of absolute poverty (if you are from Cornwall you should be able to figure where from my username). I played "high grade" rugby in Cornwall, Wales, Australia, and in London, just to swing my dick back at you. That post is absolute nonsense, people have accused our fans of lots of things but never being arrogant and that is because we aren't. You just seem intimidated by people who, by and large, are more educated and worldly than you. The club's politics reflect the part of London it is based in which is Southwark and is actually, coming from the aforementioned shitty mining town, something I take pride in. If we were based in Wiltshire I am sure the club's ethos would be different and more acceptable to your thick, west country narrow-mindedness. Actually, on the note about noise - now we have a timeline for how long we're going to be at the current ground, it would be really helpful if the club could look at getting some kind of small roof behind each of the goals.
It doesn't need to be something big, even a small covering that's the width of the goal and covered half the steps would make a massive difference. I'm talking about something as simple as the kind of thing you might see at a provincial bus stop.
One of the first things Hakan did when he joined the club was bring in some members of The Rabble and ask them to make "a wall of noise", and people are really trying, but we've just got our hands tied behind our backs with the current set up.
There has to be some solution that's affordable and doesn't require planning permission. It doesn't need to be perfect - any improvement will do.
(Would be grateful for any thoughts, Ben Clasper)
On reflection it's quite ironic to be accused of arrogance by someone who comes on here as some kind of self appointed sage, in the immediate aftermath of our relegation, to enlighten us on where we've got it all wrong, having presumably only seen our team twice all season. That post is absolute nonsense, people have accused our fans of lots of things but never being arrogant and that is because we aren't. As a small person, who currently uses a stool (og stool crew) - and when I do can still hardly see any of the game - I would really really politely plead with people not to start an arms race of stools. In all seriousness, you know what's an underappreciated and great idea? A fold up stool.
Get one for a few quid from a hardware store and you've improved your sightlines immeasurably (they're not just for shortarses).
Also - beat the bar queue by stocking with cans in a coolbag. Dunno why more people don't do that either.
The answer is clearly just to get a bigger stool, there's absolutely no way that could possibly go wrongAs a small person, who currently uses a stool (og stool crew) - and when I do can still hardly see any of the game - I would really really politely plead with people not to start an arms race of stools.
House? You were lucky to have a HOUSE! We used to live in one room, all hundred and twenty-six of us, no furniture. Half the floor was missing; we were all huddled together in one corner for fear of FALLING!I was brought up in a terraced house
West Country non league is full of 'proper' working class football fans, all the poshoes are at the rugby. Doesn't stop the odd one being a bit of a nob, as we can see.Hmm... Chippenham vs South London when it comes to hotbeds of 'proper' football fans...
Im from St Just one of 12 children a herdsmans son and self made farmer widowed at 29 with 3 great daughters now ladies. This is fun! Says someone who has obviously not played rugby in the West Country. With maybe the exception of Plymouth and Bristol, rugby is the working class sport in the region, not football. He did mention politics holding us back. But yeah, we did get relegated, it looks like Champions League domination is another year away. You forgot "woke". (As did our new friend, surprisingly.)
Luxury.Im from St Just one of 12 children a herdsmans son and self made farmer widowed at 29 with 3 great daughters now ladies.
Your a very angry man who sees the west country as and i quote " thick and narrow minded"
You are very much up yourself my ansome boy you thinks we all as rough as rats then?
Pink panther got me and alot of what i said as the late Dave Allan is my favourite comedian sarcasm and observing people.
The late David Penhaligon is my idea of a politician former mining engineer proper old Liberal who stood up for working and unemployed people down the dutchy or thick narrow minded west country people to quote you.
He died after speaking to striking miners in Probus in a tragic car accident David went to Holmans college the largest mining college in Europe.
My eldest brother worked down South Crofty in quoting you again "that shitty little mining town" do you mean Camborne? Ive met Dennis Skinner a few times hes a real socialist i wonder what he'd make of you my ansome?
Then say it or are you ashamed of the Dutchy? Oh sorry Narrow minded, thick , West country again quoting you.
Your certainly no socialist a champagne one maybe and you certainly despise blue collar workers it comes out in your anger.
I suggest you read a book by a Labour party member and trades unionist Paul Embury its called despised. Why the modern left despises the working class.
Then look in a mirror and take a long hard look Mr Champagne Socialist?
On the football PP your team really didnt try it was amazingly poor performance a real clear out required they just didnt try?
You need young hungry players your manager is good but needs his players a fair number of your players didnt seem upset or bothered at relegation.
That is disgraceful and unfair on your manager and the supporters.
We were genuinely surprised by a number of your fans who weren't bothered about relegation?
The football side needs putting to the fore and some people with football knowledge on your trust to help the manager.
Your a well supported club and most of your supporters are great but as shown here their are a %age who do not appear to like working class supporters!
We have thick West country mentalities and the comments about Camborne and its people were as nasty and unpleasant as ive seen the town has been stripped of all employment and left to rot.
We met a few on Saturday of a similar vain to this ansome boy.
So to you Camborne boy i suggest practicing what you preach you help and pretend to have a socialists ethos.
Then describe people as you did pot calling kettle black.
Pink Panther to you its good to find someone with a similar humour and i wish you all even my Cornish brother cambelt well for next season.
It's true rugby has a working class following too but it's also where the poshoes disproportionately are rather than the football.Says someone who has obviously not played rugby in the West Country. Not in Wales. It's true rugby has a working class following too but it's also where the poshoes disproportionately are rather than the football.
I saw every single home game this season and a majority away. It's the third time I've seen the Hamlet relegated. The first occasion (1989/90) I saw every single game home and away. I don't mind a bit of banter, although the immediate aftermath of a relegation probably isn't the best time from a supporter of another club.On the football PP your team really didnt try it was amazingly poor performance a real clear out required they just didnt try?
