I have a Braun shaver and it is fine. They are quite a well known German (I believe) manufacturer. Can anyone confirm whether or not Braun clippers are worth it, if I can't get Wahl?
Yeah, my hair might be a bit longer, but the effects of lockdown on my tonsorial habits has been nil, apart from growing the beard. If anything, I'm cutting my hair more
I have had both. Much of a muchness imo. Get the ones with the cheapest offer on.Can anyone confirm whether or not Braun clippers are worth it, if I can't get Wahl?
Yuk, it would be stinky after a couple of days if you get any exerciseAlso, only need to wash it once a week
I generally wash mine twice a week, and that seems just about right for me. I can't get my head around the idea of washing hair daily, thoughfrom today's rag Shave it or save it? The 11 big lockdown hair conundrums – answered by experts
Don't cut or shave it; it's a good time to experiment with new styles

ha ha yes I am approaching hedge cutter stage atmBloody hell weltweit, you've been dithering about which clippers to order for over a month now.
If this goes on much longer you won't need clippers, you'll need a hedge cutter.
But it only costs £25 if it's available...ha ha yes I am approaching hedge cutter stage atm
Decided to ramp up the search but buggered if I am going to pay £45 for something that costs £25 elsewhere!
I decided I could use a Braun hair and beard trimmer. It is available from shavers for £45.00 but from Argus for £25.00 (exact same item) .. now I am annoyed at Argos's delivery / collect regime. It isn't in stock at my local one where I could collect, it is available in an Argos further away, but they won't ship it, as I am too far away apparently. Grr ..
What did you do in the end?Yeah, I tried Argos too. I'd have had to have made a 120-mile round trip journey to pick them up. Nah, thanks anyway.
What did you do in the end?
I may do that, I paid something like £45 for a Braun Shaver from Argos a year ago, so I have paid that sort of money for this sort of thing. Will ponder on it .. it would be nice to be able to get a trim next week ..Went with shavers, and paid the extra for the quick delivery. I ordered on the Thursday evening before the Easter weekend, and it was delivered on the Wednesday morning. Can't complain about that, tbh
Good to hear.Judging by the price you mention, it's the same set as you are after. I've never had a set before, but I've been well impressed with this.
Are the adjustable height combs easy to use?
