Coronavirus beards

Yeah but the bald spot means I can't have a fully joined up beard ...
No it doesn't.

I've got the same in the same place.

That's 3 weeks since I was last clean shaven. It's alopecia. I get it on my head every now and then as well, especially at the sides which is why I normally sport a skin fade. I've got a large bald patch on my throat as well but I shave that anyway because it itches like fuck. It does fill in after a while but it'll probably just move to somewhere else. I've had it for years and learned not to give a toss about it.

Got rid of mine today too. Just constantly felt a bit dirty. I don't like being clean shaven but I also don't like the mankiness of a few weeks growth. Gonna stick my decade odd long habit of shaving with hair trimmers on just the metal once every four or five days or so.

have other people commented on your similarity to ignacio out of saul goodman?

Having gone the other way and removed mine after a few years in the name of infection control, I'm quite liking it. A fair few people have said how much younger I look as well. Does mean actually having to buy razers though...

Just shaved it all off last night, had shaved it into a goatee sort of thing earlier - but I like it when it is mainly stubble, when it gets to be more hair like I like it less. It had to go, and now I am back to my face.. I like my face!

What's this about? Are we saying that, like Robinson Crusoe, we have been marooned far away from any semblance of shaving kit. or what?

Mine is coming along nicely, btw.

Hair is a #2/#1 blend, and the mutton chops got a #2 trim. I think they are unlikely to last the week.

Three big lessons learned so far 1) a neck beard irritates the fuck out of me. 2) a tache irritates the fuck out of me. 3) I like to fiddle, to adjust, to experiment - I can not just let it lie.

You need beard oil or balm if it's itching, and causing beardruff. It works well. I also use anti-dandruff shampoo on my beard to keep the flakes away.
