Butterflies and moths

The Big Butterfly Count is currently underway - as part of my environmental volunteer shift today we did 2 locations.

It's really easy, you just stand in a sunny spot for 15 minutes and check off any butterflies on the chart you can see, anyone can take part.

We saw small whites, large whites, holly blues, commas and a jersey tiger moth today.

Thanks. Google lens said tussock but I wasn't sure because of colour. Yes prunus it looks white to me, I've been close up and very very pale green.

this is the wrong thread in various ways but didn't want to start a new one.
I now have two crazily beautiful dragonflies here who clearly flew into the kitchen and then died i am not sure how, they are not visibly injured at all.
I would like to frame them, like a little taxidermy project, has anybody got any pointers?

Interesting story

Huge recovery for butterfly once extinct in the UK

An endangered butterfly that was once extinct in the UK has had its best summer in 150 years. The large blue butterfly is one of Europe's most endangered insects but thousands have been recorded this summer in south-west England.

About ten years ago I worked for the National Trust in Cornwall on one of the sites where Large Blues had been reintroduced, but I don't think they were successful in that particular location, so it's good to hear that they seem to be doing well elsewhere.
