Burger Thread. Yes!

I'm yet to try one.

I have had this on a burger though

are they the ones you do in the microwave?

they are. You are meant to put the bun in with the burger while nuking it. I have at least enough dignity to toast it separate.

You also get a sachet of ill defined 'burger sauce' (which must be 80% msg) and a square of sort-of-cheese.

If you toast the bun and warm up the burger under the grill, a rustlers burger is quite serviceable. If you added some gherkins and stuff it wouldn't be so different from a McD's IMO

it has exactly the same taste of mcd's imo. Not in its entirety but that irreproducible macd's flavour. Must be in the meat.

You don't get that indefinable flavour from BK. Or proper burgers

Can report that the burgers tasted OK - think the smell might have just been that they were flavoured or something

Still couldn't enjoy them properly because of the doubt  so have now decided to wash them down with some strong alcohol (antibacterial purposes) for peace of mind

What kind of stock does this thread hold with burger sauce? I'm talking about this stuff

I don't eat burgers (not of the meat variety, anyway) but I can't get enough of burger sauce. It's the good shit.

I'm down with burger sauce/ relish. I like sauces on stuff in general (I believe Yets is also a fan)

I think it's mayo, mustard and ketchup - definitely not just ketchup and mayo on its own, it's a bit tangier and has got a slightly yellow tinge to it.

it's big mac sauce that makes big macs taste of mcdonalds

that flavour I'm on about exists throughout the maccy dees range. Even the fillet o fish has that crack-like tang
