Burger Thread. Yes!

Look what I spotted in Spain. That's right. Burger King selling the McRib :mad:

There's a restaurant near us that we're going to next week, that the burger comes with a horseradish and truffle mayo. Sounds yummy
 
Just to add some controversy. When it comes to steak I'm a aristocrat (medium rare). But I've lately learned that having you burger cooked anything other than well done, is well, wrong.

Thoughts. Burger Lad?
 
i like a medium rare burger, edging more towards the rare side.

The argument against anything other than well done are

1. Medium rare works well for non fatty fine cuts of meat, but burger meat is rarely as fine as steak meat and fattier so should be cooked longer.

2. Minced meat is more likely to have bacteria, so needs to be cooked longer.

It doesn't matter to me, my wife will only eat well done red meat, so my burgers are cooked to a inch of their life.
