Britain’s best and worst seaside towns

ive only really started going to the seaside the last couple of years - i had no idea about jet skis before - so dangerous i cant believe they are allowed - shacking along the coast where people are swimming, swimmers heads barely visible to them - im surprised they're not banned, or at least confined to the sea many meters away from the coast
if no one has died yet because of one id be surprised

There is also a marine reserve for the seals and sea birds on that bit of coast. Which is enforced by putting out a couple of lines of buoys and then doing nothing else.

People also fish in the marine reserve bit, right where the seals are also trying to catch fish.

Went to N Berwick on Thursday. Its a very pretty little town. But 3x fish and chips, 2x halloumi panini, one coke, one J2O, one alcohol free beer, two other soft drinks, £80. It was nice though. I will visit again.

Nice little town. Last time I was in Scotshire, a friend insisted that I check-out Cucina Amore, in N Berwick, and I can thoroughly recommend the place. It's also on Quality Street, which was quite nice, and I was assured by a local that it was the inspiration for the name of the tin of chocolates! ;)

It's about 40 deaths a year, mainly, but not confined, to those riding the skis.

Exmouth is nice. It is easily the prettiest beach but also unpretentious and fun.
Was going to go today to watch Exmouth Town v Totton but it's postponed due to the latter being cup-tied.

Do like Exmouth. Grapevine/Crossed Anchors brewery is a top venue, plus there's a couple of great chippies.

I favour Capels for fish and chips... and yes grapevine is great. I like how it still feels like a real town, it is neither overly gentrified or rundown and scary.

I’ve only been to Exmouth for a friends wedding, was quite nice playing crazy golf in the morning before suiting up for the do on the Beacon.
