La Pianiste http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0254686/ or pretty much anything else with Isabelle Huppert
eh, what? I'm not a french film.
Am I?
who can i-d me a b/w french film that was mostly about a pileup?
Tarantino is a big Godard fan, hence his production company being called A Band Apart.
I thought you might like to recommend that Nest of Spies film
If you have 30 minutes to spare, you could do worse than spend them on this little film.....
It's ok. I've loved you so long is also good but dark.Is no one really going to suggest "Ne le dis à personne" (Tell No One)?
It's got the wickedest dog accompanying a French Dustin Hoffman lookalike.
that rings a bell, how about the milk?Weekend?
^^ Tomboy,yes great film made with a Canon 5d I believe.
I have also seen Blue is the warmest colour. I also enjoyed this, but afterwards I heard the actresses weren't that happy about the relentlessness of the sex scenes and I can see their point.
I second The Class (Entre les Murs), and will add in In The House (Dans La Maison).
Also, they're TV series rather than films, but Les Revenants and Engrenages are very good too.

Irreversible is one of the few films I couldn't stomach watching again.
