Are You "Anyone But England"?

Think it will pick up again Tuesday afternoon, really get going Wednesday afternoon, and then we'll be looking at exponential growth from Wednesday 9pm through to the end of existence

That'll be too little, too late.

Oh, I don't know, considering the intention, I think it's going bloody well, should make at least 30 pages over the weekend.

I go to Irish games and it go's like this
I re land I re land and repeat
Same for Wales and Scotland, how uncanny :D

You asked about 'Engerlund' /Ingerlund'. I was merely suggesting where the phonetic spelling - used by people who are not from Engand, by posh English people, by English tabloid journos alike etc when describing a particular type of knuckle-dragging England fan.

Fair play to you Cunty. You've had your money's worth out of this one.

Dunno what all the fuss is about TBH. An integral part of being a football fan is to have a team you love to 'hate'.

Try telling a French or Dutch person they should cheer on Germany cos they are next door neighbours.

How many Ukranians do you think were cheering their Russian next door neighbours?

Good luck in a Manchester pub telling them they should have been cheering Liverpool on against Madrid. Or telling Barca fans they should have been cheering Real. Here's a tip.. order your ambulance in advance.
Except this is an English person, hoping England lose. It isn't a Manc hoping scousers lose, or vice versa... etc.

Anyone posted this yet?

Some Engish lads on a jolly in Dublin asked a local how would you say 'It's coming home' in Irish?

This is the result :D...

You're not one of those Irish people who hate everyone from England because of atrocities carried out by the English gubberment and the crown, are you?

Looks like that won't embed... and it's on a closed fb group page.

Suffice to say that it consists of drunken England fans happily chanting 'Tiocfaidh ar lá' (blissfully unaware that it is a long-time slogan of the Republican movement) before resuming "Iss cammin' 'ome"

Just bit more on my experience of the SWP in the 80s and the World Cup.
1) Bamberry not content with busting those of us who missed a branch meeting for the World Cup called s three line whip for an important branch meeting on 'coming perspectives '. At which me and five other long standing members ( and probably the branches main links with the unions) are held up as examples of The Terry Butcher faction. Bamberry tells us that the Scottish branches are already organising public meetings on Why You Should Join the SWP and expanding paper sales . I helpfully point out its was alright for the Scots to plan ahead as they wouldn't make it past the group stages but we would at least get to the semis.
2) we are sitting in the back seats on a coach coming back from some demo. We have some cans and what was called in those days a ghetto blaster with a tape in it and are playing 'world in motion' by New Order . Some lickspittle comes up and tells us we are supporting a soft version of imperialism by playing that song. So we ask him if the party line is that if we are in a club should we no platform it . Lickspittle replies that we should patiently explain to the DJ that class unites and imperialism divides. We go back to playing the record and cracking a few more cans open.

When Iwas growing up I was surrounded by (english-born) Irish, Welsh, Polish and Scottish kids who ALL wanted england to lose at everything.

The only thing that's changed nowadays is that (some) Rainjurs fans now support England instead of Scotland

Harlesden Branch ( and Kilburn) was never the SWPs Jewel in the Crown despite it being the nearest thing to a working class branch. I remember me and a couple of mates ( sadly one is dead now) trying to make an effort to prove to Bamberry that we were the authentic part of the Party and get the cunt off our backs by turning up to every picket , demo , protest and getting ourselves in TV as much as possible in a three month burst of hyperactivity . Come the annual conference Bamberry says that he wants to mention Harlesden branch , we sit there to await basking in the glow . Then he says 'if I see the same old faces from that branch again I'll be sick where are the new recruits and new faces ? '

knuckle-dragging England fans. LiamO

Plenty of them in Scotland, Wales, Ireland Liam as well
You only have look on You Tube etc.

Some have even joined the England "hoolies" when they have not even been born in England.
The Welsh professional footballer a few years back springs to mind who played for Cardiff City for example.
Mind if you want aggro at international Tournaments i spose many do not have a choice if you follow the other British National sides.

Yeah but everybody knows that Rangers are a set of cunts.

ummm i think we may
I avoided one today, nice fella actually but very bitter for some reason like many.
He is Pro Brexit(so not all bad ha) very very vocal about it infact.
Just not good to talk to him about football, gets very irate if you have a different viewpoint.
Even said Ireland would have a better chance of winning the world Cup than the English National side.

Behind what one?

Please explain exactly what you mean.
No
Why have you put this Vid up, cant even understand what they are saying as i said.
Lost on me
