Archaeology programmes on TV (cooncil or streaming).

danny la rouge

More like *fanny* la rouge!
Well, we’ve got the old favourite, Time Team. Classic series on C4 streaming. New stuff on YouTube.

There’s The Great British Dig which used to only be in peoples gardens, but has moved out into the wider community. C4 again. Huge Dennis presents.

There’s Digging for Britain with Saint Alice Roberts. On the good old Beeb. Raksha Dave turns up from time to time.

Raksha has also turned up in Digging Up Britain’s Past on ITV, presented by Helen Skelton and some bloke.

What else is there? Even if it doesn’t have “digging” or “Britain” in the title. And where and when can we watch?

Possibly slightly tangential to what you want (depending upon how wide your remit) but the BBC's "Raiders of the Lost Past" is a kind of history of archaeology programme (rather than seeing people doing the actual archaeology iykwim).
They show it on BBC4 - there's one on tonight at 7pm, or available on iPlayer.
