maybe because men are physically stronger than women there doesn't seem to be the same feeling of abuse (from the men in question? But hey, maybe they just don't say anything because it's not seen as "manly"). But I also think that the physical + position of power takes the balance one way too much?

The guy I was referring to in post above in France is very slight, no physical advantage there. Just that the girls were obsessed with the band so that was his power. I doubt theyd give him a second glance if he wasn't a rock star.
