Alternatives to using the word '"guys" at work anyone?

Third page and nobody has said "cunts" yet.

I said that to a neighbour today; "the cunts I work with..." and she goes "but they're two men...?". I said "so?" and she goes "that word doesn't describe men", so I replied "ok. How about twats, douchebags, dickheads, assholes or asshats?". Her response was "maybe a little better, but not quite".

My big issue with one of my bosses is he always says "Guys" in the emails he sends out. True as it may be, that I'm the only female tech in the area, but I've just chocked it up to him being a redneck hillbilly. Thus, anything of the "hey guys" would work for him as he "knows no better". On the other hand, I play nice, and when I have to address my bosses in an email, I always start with "Gentlemen;" and go about my issues.

I do tend to make the people I work with question some of the phrasing, however... basically because I'm the only girl. Doesn't matter the age of the fellas... I always nicely say "hey boys" when I see two or more of them together. But if they're dicking around and fighting, I call them "children" to their faces. I don't care that they are 2 or more years older than me; they want to act like four year olds, I'll call them out as such.

I've got no other suggestions outside of what people have already stated.

I actually think it was somewhere on Urban I saw it, but it's worth pointing out that 'brief mortals' is gender neutral, as in 'HOW MAY LORD DAMOGON HELP, BRIEF MORTALS?'
