Rollem said:rotation in terms of first 7 is a necessity though , so no-one should sit back and think their place is safe, or that they are guaranteed a start every game. just like no one wants to be a defender, no one wants to be a sub, but i am afraid its a postion you are all going to have to accept at some point - offical name? : urban75 innit
fresh legs are as important as strategy, on the day we'll be playing a minimum of 3 games in the league stage, then if we progress it'll be more. if games are 10/15 mins each half we'll be fcuked. It's important for you as our gaffer to spot who's wilting and make the change - thus the reason it is important for each of us to understand our role in the team, ideally we would have 2 for each position. In work gaffer I play in defence, never move forward past the half way line, but I will be able to play anywhere and you'll see that over the next few weeks. I was sore yesterday but today I'm absolutely fine so my fitness is definitely coming back fast. If we're gonna take this seriously we gotta be honest about how good we are in each position. but as you know that's your job
what is also important, very important - is communication on the pitch, someone who isn't exactly polite (Chris), gee team mates up, keeping everyone aware and the play flowing,
so lets' talk, what does everyone think now we've had a few days to soak it in...
