Where's the photo report we was promised?

Nothing, just a mention in the blog!

It's been four days since my last footie action - except for demonstrating the Zidane stepover in my front room in front of a less than impressed audience.

Am missing it quite a lot. Can't wait til next Monday but think people will blank it due to watching the over paid superstars. :(

week after for those at glasto innit :)

I don't think I'll be available till the week after Glasto as I'll still be on leave on the Wednesday after Glasto and am not sure if I'll be around.

Hi Ya Folks... There's a few photos posted up here.

There wont be another Footy Jam until next May. (sorry!) what a day!!! Anyways, like i said to you lot, we're in Clissold Park more or less every sunday morning, before the start of our season, so if you ever fancy it, then just turn up. Kick off 10.30. We'll be in touch about another friendly get together sometime, maybe in August. Good luck with ya team, and stay in touch.
Much Love. Viva Futbol!
Jel Recreativo XX
PS.. COME ON ENGLAND!

great photos, lol, love the fact that you've mentioned our "enthusiasm" in the build up to the day, gingin. deffo see ya next year, and perhaps later in august?

Might be caretaker manager for our match v Recretivo in August - due to buns in ovens.

So far have a 442 formation with LD Rudeboy and maybe Sleater acting as wingbacks - Flimsier and Ringo will probs be in the centre of the park - Ringo might be right midfield. Chris Filter sitting off the striker.

Tony el goalio obviously in goal. Brixton Hatter and probs myself in central defence -

Nothing set in stone yet - but should be an 11 a side match. Will get three mates to play striker/left wing and right wing or central mid. They are pretty good players - the three lads coming in. One is all left foot and dribbling - one is a good right sided midfield player and one is a very good striker of the ball - who can play at teh back.

Obviously will keep it Urban related - hope to get more U75ites in.

Can you guys send me your postal address as I have some proper photos developed now?

Otherwise I can save them till I see you next.

I won't be able to make Wednesday's training for a month or so as I'm attending a stop smoking threapy group.

Is there footie tonight, might, only might be a little difficult for me. Probably can turn up, but there's that 5% chance I can't -

sorry guys >smacks back of own hand< have been on holiday and not been on the case for this. how about we all aim to get back into it next week?

hopefully be able to make it. finances are so bad I couldn't afford food, so I'm back at my parents house and cat sitting for a couple of weeks.. doing some bar shifts as well.. i hate bar work. anyway, might be about, will let you know.

and rollem, clear your pm's :)

Played against a Bournemouth team on Saturday - they were pretty tough - have bruises to show from it. Rollem witnessed a man of the match display - including a back heeled goal from yours truly!
;)

Will be up for next Weds.

How come then, you only get in a strop with us. :D

I guess this is as good a place as any to see if the U75 team are interested in friendly 5-aside matches with guys from my work.

They play all year round at a astro-turf venue near Tottenham Hale. It's not that close to the tube but is accessible by catching a bus from the tube or a cab would be around £6. It costs to hire a pitch as well but my work pay for it. The guys play all year round & usually on Thurs nights.

I suggested playing in Regents Park but they would prefer astro-turf as in the past a few of the guys have had quite bad accidents playing on grass - some broken bones even.

Anyway just thought I'd mention it. If you're keen but it doesn't suit y'all now with Baby Rollem soon to be expected, we can arrange for some other time in the year.

I know T/Hale isn't exactly the most convenient of places so I can understand if no one's interested. But let me know anyway cos I need to get back to one of the guys.

Also if they end up playing elsewhere in the future, I'll let y'all know. :)
