In my opinion & that of many others Class War was at its best from the early to mid eighties, with apart from Ian Bone, individuals who at least did not come across as 'educated'. You sound like some of the fuckwits from Oxford anarchist scene going about their dissertations on the history on Anarchism for their PHD.

The eighties was a period when Class War was at its' most vibrant, spontaneous and active.

Not less because it did'nt stick to any party line, having controvercial articles on drugs, termination of pregnencies, and the middle class.

There is no way you can reinvent the eighties or mobilise in a way that was succesful then. Although groups like the LRC think they can reinvent the Bennite Left with the John Mcdonnell campaign for the Labour Leadership, The SWP's faintless effort to try and emulate the the Popular Front policies of the Communist Party from the late 1930's-1950's onwards with RESPECT, or the Anti 'Gulf War' movement with CND or Vietnam.

However the whole spirit of Class War then may be what is necessary to stop what is CWF now just turning into another left wing sect!!!!!!

What CW is today is so very very different to what it was when it was succesful... If 'we' cannot agree on that then there is no point in debating with you because you cannot get outside the self referential hermetically sealed shell Cw is currently in.

Why? There is some spoiling going on, there are strange interpretations being promoted, there is definately some strange politics... In my contributions before I left I tried constantly to get some discussion of politics going and it never came - the whole thing stinks. Still.

MATB, Libcom, and CW all have that thing the left critisises anarchists for, and that is a lack of organisation/democracy. ALL have tyrannies of structurelessness, none of them expelled/banned me for anything that I had done - it was for who I was and my ideas. There was no charge, therefore no defence was possible, it was the worst sort of kangaroo apolitical and stalinist expedient manouvres on all three occassions... Of that there is no doubt.

This is what is called a 'non existent contradiction'. The important point is that there is this hierarchy which IS the problem. Paul, I think you should try and get something published somewhere else, other than in your own backyard - you know, actually open your ideas up to someone who maybe critical. It may help to give you that bit of humility you so obviously need.
