I've found it to be a waste of time trying to argue people back up the rabbit hole they are in. But if you were to step back, don't you think it's problematic framing all this as 'I have seen', personal revelation stuff? Just asking.

I dunno, reckon brexit has definitely increased the baseline number of conspiraloons on the island not decreased it.
Not as strong an effect as the pandemic but still, the ‘they’re all out to get us’ frame of mind definitely went more mainstream during the whole referendum and negotiation process, and that’s before the increasing necessity to blame the failure of the project on a shady cabal of deep state remoaniac plotters.

If I had been compelled (at gunpoint) to actually cast a vote in the plebiscite to choose from the alternative versions of accelerated neoliberalism, I suppose I would have cast my vote for the UK polity staying within the supra state. My justification being that overly, large bloated bureaucracies tend to be less efficient.
